What Bac Water 3 mL is
Bacteriostatic water is sterile water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a preservative. The preservative is what allows the stopper to be entered more than once - plain sterile water is single-use, because nothing in it holds back microbial growth after the first draw. Used to reconstitute lyophilized material for in-vitro work, and supplied in a stoppered multi-dose vial.
