Common questions
What purity level are your peptides, and how is it verified?
+
Purity is quantified by reverse-phase HPLC and molecular identity confirmed by mass spectrometry, both by an independent laboratory rather than in-house. The measured figure is reported on the certificate for your specific lot, which ships with the order — we publish the method, and the certificate publishes the number.
What is a Certificate of Analysis and how do I read one?
+
A COA is the independent laboratory report for a single production run. It reports HPLC purity, mass-spec identity, net peptide content and screening results for that lot alone. Our guide walks through each section field by field.
How do I know the certificate matches the vial I received?
+
Scan the code on your vial. It opens the published certificates for that compound, newest first. Each one is the report the third-party laboratory issued for a single production run — it describes that batch alone, never the compound generally.
What form does the product ship in?
+
Compounds ship as lyophilized powder in sealed vials. Powder is stable at ambient temperature in transit and does not require cold-chain shipping.
How should I store the material?
+
Store sealed vials at -20°C, protected from light and moisture. Under those conditions lyophilized material is typically stable for up to 24 months from its test date. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles after reconstitution.
How fast do orders ship?
+
Orders placed on a business day are prepared for dispatch on the next business day or shortly after. We publish the tracking number when the label is created rather than promising a transit time we do not control.
Are these products for human use?
+
No. Every compound is sold exclusively for in-vitro laboratory research and development. They are not for human or animal consumption, ingestion or injection, and have not been evaluated by the FDA.
Do you offer wholesale or bulk pricing?
+
Yes. Volume rates are available for laboratories, clinics and distributors, and apply across the whole catalog rather than requiring you to bulk a single compound. Purchase orders and net terms are available for verified institutions.
What is your return and refund policy?
+
If a vial arrives damaged or a seal is compromised, photograph it before disposal and contact us for a replacement. Fulfillment errors are corrected at our cost. Because these are research materials, opened vials cannot be returned.
How do I contact support?
+
Email hello@routinepeptides.com with your order number. Questions about a specific batch are answered fastest if you include your order number and the compound.
