What we test, on every batch
Each production run passes the same six screens before release. Results are reported per lot on that lot's Certificate of Analysis — there is no catalog-wide certificate, because a certificate that covers everything documents nothing.
HPLC purity
Reverse-phase chromatography quantifies the proportion of peptide content that is the intended sequence.
Mass spectrometry
Confirms molecular identity by measured mass against the expected value for the compound.
Net peptide content
Reports actual peptide mass per vial, excluding counter-ions and residual water.
Endotoxin (LAL)
Screens for bacterial endotoxins that can confound cell-based assays.
Heavy metals
Screens for lead, arsenic, cadmium and mercury.
Sterility
Screens for microbial contamination.
